Target has profited from the opportunity in gift cards, due in part to its versatility to celebrate any occasion. Gift cards can be seen as a practical gift, or the gift of a thousand possibilities. But one can usually guess the gift card present before it’s opened. Is there a way to better disguise this gift of a thousand possibilities?
Target has also benefited from micro branding accessories used in everyday life; for example, the eco-trendy Target tote bag. While the bag is more popular with women, it is a constant and effortless way for Target to remain top of mind. Is there another opportunity to keep Target branding in everyday life within a larger audience?
The Target Gift Card Wallet is a trendy, fun, creative and functional accessory for both men and women. The idea is to use recycled Target outdoor billboard materials to make a wallet. Inside this Target-branded wallet is a gift card with a scanable tag. The gift card serves the same purpose, but comes with a wallet-holder that is reusable.
