The MISHKA Lookbook always looks stellar! They find great photographers to highlight the look and brand of their clothes.

Funny little video comparison of the Canon 7D vs. Barbie Video Girl. We all know who will win this cat vs dog fight, but the Barbie Video Girl is actually impressive for under $50.

The video above was shot with a new camera that I hope to purchase. I like that you can buy a small camera body that allows you to change out lenses. these camera’s also have HD video with in-body stabilization and filters.

Check out the camera at B&H here

Then I would pick up this GLIDECAM for only $329

in the words (and the above video) of Scott Foley:

I recently took a trip to a beach on Long Island during sunset. It was beach-tastic. While there, I randomly came upon a couple walking into the distance. I grabbed my camera and tripod and took a seat in the shallow water. I then began to wonder. I wondered if they loved each other still. I wondered if they were married. I wondered how they first met. I wondered how it would end. I wondered a lot. I hope you do the same. Grab an ol’ lemonade and sit back and relax. For once.

Pretty awesome wedding video… I’m guessing that there will be more custom videos offered from wedding photographers. If you want to make it big in that business I think you should start learning how to use and edit video. Still shots will always be great to have, but why not get your stills from the best spot in natural movement. No more (*say*) chees-y lines to make people smile!

A friend from work sent over a link to Aaron’s work and I thought it was full of awesome shots. Who knew Kip was so talented!

Check out his commercial website here and his directing here

Kip: So when’s grandma coming back?
Uncle Rico: I don’t know. Not sure.
Napoleon Dynamite: You don’t have to stay here with us, we’re not babies.
Uncle Rico: Ha ha! Talk to your Auntie Carolyn.
Napoleon Dynamite: Kip is like 32 years old.
Kip: I don’t mind if you stay.

Jonathan Chapman is one of my favorite photographers because of his style and the way he interacts with his subjects. He shoots both video and still photography with grace and talent.  He should be on every art buyers radar!

Check out his work here!
